OTT platforms across the country are set to offer a wide range of entertainment for audiences during the upcoming Eid al-Fitr. With new web series, sequels, and unique storytelling, the digital space is gearing up for a festive lineup.

Local OTT platform Chorki will release the web series Cactus on March 18. Directed by Shihab Shaheen, the series follows the story of a talented hacker named Mansiv, who is forced to return to national duty under special circumstances. The character of Mansiv is portrayed by Pritom Hasan, while Mehazabien Chowdhury plays Anura.

Meanwhile, the series Pap Kahini 2, built around themes of love, betrayal, and revenge, is also scheduled for an Eid release. The cast includes Runa Khan, Kusum Sikder, Ashna Habib Bhabna, and Sadia Jahan Prova, among others.

On the other hand, OTT platform Bongo will stream the web film Love Sitter. The film, which revolves around a cat and the evolving relationship between two lonely individuals, is directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury and Mushfiqa Masud. It stars Ziaul Haque Polash and Sadia Ayman, and is set to release on the third day of Eid. Additionally, a new chapter of the popular series Bachelor Point 5 will also be available on the platform.

Beyond local platforms, Bangladeshi content is also making its presence felt internationally. The Indian OTT platform SonyLIV will begin streaming the web series Jazz City from March 19. Starring Arifin Shuvoo and directed by Soumik Sen, the series is set in Kolkata in 1971 and incorporates elements of the Liberation War. Sauraseni Maitra stars opposite Shuvoo.

Overall, this Eid promises a rich and diverse lineup of content across OTT platforms, offering audiences an abundance of entertainment options during the festive season.
